Chino Hills Pool Tile Cleaning and Calcium Removal services all cities in Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Los Angeles County and Orange County. We make your calcified pool tiles look new again without the damage of glass beads. Our process can be used to remove calcium on pool tiles, water lines, rock, cement, glass block, cultured stone, granite, marble, slate, travertine and virtually any outdoor surface you have lime and calcium buildup. We do not use glass beads. Glass beads should never be used on pool tile regardless of how low psi the technician claims to be using this typically etches your tile. This damage is later covered up with a tile sealer.

Our pool tile cleaning equipment is a combination of multiple components that allow us to introduce a mixture of mostly H2O and Kieserite. Kieserite is a natural occurring mineral that is mined in Germany and is a variant of epsom salt. The mixture is applied under slight pressure via a spray wand and is directed at the mineral deposits on your pool tiles and features. This process not only removes those ugly mineral deposits, but also polishes your tiles at the same time! The mixture is fully water soluble and will not change the chemical makeup of your pool water. It is also safe if it comes in contact with any plants, grass or other foliage around your pool.

Chino Hills Pool Service also does many other pool maintenance and repair services such as deck o seal mastic, green to clean, chlorine washing and acid washing

Typically every 5 to 7 years a pool should be drained and acid washed to remove discoloring caused by chemicals.

An acid wash is, put simply, purposeful stripping of a tiny layer of plaster, exposing fresh plaster beneath. An acid wash will generally remove superficial stains, fine scale deposits, and various colored deposits from the plaster. The process strips off (dissolves) a very thin layer of plaster, and will therefore generally restore 75 to 85% of the plaster's brightness. An acid wash will not remove heavy deposits or stains that have penetrated through many layers of plaster.

As a general rule, acid washing a pool should be done only by a licensed professional. Chlorine washes are generally used for severe algae such as black algae, mustard algae, green or pink algae.
